The AR-15 receiver spur made by S&B products is one solid piece of nylon 6/6. It is resistant to damage from the oils and solvents commonly used with firearms thus providing years of unfailing service.
I ordered the FDE spur but decided on wanting a black one instead. I mailed the FDE spur back and when I got the black spur there was $5 in the package with it to cover the shipping I had spent!
